Most of us are, as humans, so visual. I know I am. It's how I think (or "think," as my more language-oriented friends have pointed out): in terms of shapes, lines, glyphs, and symbols. Colors for me are accents, which may be why I am not a painter. I instinctively process visual information into shapes and spaces, size and distance, direction and speed.
Sound is something else. Yet my mind processes it in much the same way when I want to use it, though not when I want to experience it. Watching, listening, and making are such different things.
And now I have fallen into collecting.
